Avatar localization often fails because the script was not prepared for translation. A direct translation can sound stiff, too long or off-brand.
Create a translatable script first
Use short sentences, avoid jokes that depend on language and create a glossary for product names, feature names and brand terms.
Translate for speech, not for text
Ask the translation model to preserve meaning, keep sentence length close to the original and flag phrases that sound too written.
Cut away from the avatar
Use product screenshots, captions, diagrams and examples every few seconds. The avatar should guide the video, not carry every piece of information.
Review with a native speaker
Check terminology, subtitle readability and lip-sync issues. Automated scoring is not enough for ads or educational content.
